U.C.College has excellent facilities
for recreation/sports and cultural activities. Separate
playing fields are there for different sports and games.
The physical education department has special interest
in identifying and encouraging talented students. In
almost every course, seats are reserved for students
from the sports quota. The functioning of the Sports
Hostel of the M.G University in Women Hockey enable
these students to specialize in that game. We have an
indoor stadium with multiple facilities for recreation.
A gymnasium helps in bodybuilding.

Activities
During
the last five years 41 students represented the Kerala
State at the National level and 94 students represented
the University at inter university competitions. During
the same period the college won 7 team events at the
university level, runner up positions at 7 events, secured
the third place in the five events, and the fourth place
in 3 events. Special care is being given to the fostering
of cultural activities through the college union and
its arts wing. Teacher and student coordination cooperates
in monitoring cultural activities. Two teachers are
in charge of the cultural activities. The college has
won several prizes at the university Youth Festival.
